Meet The Team
Therapeutic Approach
Jeff's education and experience have undoubtedly informed his approach to therapy. His background allows him to appreciate the impact of medical comorbidities in his clients; in conjunction with their innate (and human) desire for emotional well-being and self actualization. Jeff thus takes a holistic approach to understanding all of the: biological, psychological and sociological factors that contribute to defining the individual, their behaviours and their specific human experience. His interventions are derived from a collection of empirically supported treatments which can be utilized to meet his clients unique therapeutic goals. Jeff accordingly engages in evidence-based modalities with measurable outcomes. Most importantly however, he strives to provide a comfortable, safe and empathetic environment to support his clients in their courageous journey of healing, self discovery, and recovery.
Jeff believes there is merit in knowing the cause of any problem, but he works with clients to find solutions to their concerns. In doing so, his clients are able to make the changes and improvements in their life that they desire. He will be supportive in this process, but will not shy away from gently challenging you to become those changes you seek in yourself. Most importantly however; Jeff values the therapeutic relationship and recognizes its role in his clients psychological health and well-being.
If you are ready to take ownership of your “self” (and all the inherent strengths and weaknesses therein) then collaboratively with the expertise you possess in “yourself”, Jeff is confident that you will have a supportive, genuine, and rewarding experience which will assist you in your therapeutic journey to health and wellness.
